Do you ever feel like you’re just too, well, ordinary? Average. Middle of the road. Maybe a plain Jane or an everday Sally? (sorry if you’re Jane or Sally; we do love the name!)

It’s probably the magazines that make us feel less-than-perfect and like we’re not enough on our own. But do you know that you are extraordinary and are made to do wonderful things; it’s about figuring out what those things are. . . Easy peasy, right? (sounds good on paper anways!)

We love a good story about an inspiring woman: Strong yet meek. Humorous yet humble. Brave yet cautious. You know the type – everyone but you it seems sometimes. Oh, on the contrairy! Ordinary women, and girls, are doing extraordinary acts every day, whether it’s becoming an Olympian, dealing with an illness, volunteering their time, visiting elderly neighbors, holding a door open, practicing acts of kindness, writing poetry, winning an award, serving as a missionary, and the list goes on and on and on.

Maybe you’re one of these extraordinary girls we’re talking about, or maybe you know one quite well. An acquaintance. A mentor. A friend. A sister. Your mother. Who is it in your life that shouts extraordinary in a quiet whisper? Who do you know who moves mountains with her simple acts of kindness? Who is it that lives to love and loves to live?
